Susan Nation is an acclaimed singer, songwriter, and bassist whose music spans Bluegrass, Americana, and Gospel. Much of the Chuck Nation Band’s repertoire features her original songs, showcasing her gift for crafting heartfelt and timeless lyrics. As the founder of Only One Nation Music, Susan’s songwriting has reached audiences far and wide, with her songs recorded by artists such as Gary “Biscuit” Davis, bandleader for Dolly Parton, among others.

Her rich vocals and steady bass playing provide the band’s rhythmic and emotional foundation, making her a favorite among audiences everywhere. Alongside Chuck Nation, she has performed at the New Orleans World’s Fair, the Savannah Music Festival, and has toured extensively in Japan, Ireland, and throughout the United States, sharing the band’s signature blend of musical excellence and uplifting spirit.
